So there is this shiny new LJ comm I've joined called ATLAland! I'm just gonna steal the summary from their website:

'Okay, so maybe you haven't heard of these interactive "land" communities that are all the rage nowadays. We're here to fix that! In a way similar to [info]whedonland, ATLA Land is an interactive online community with challenges and friendly competitions. There are four teams for each of the four nations: Fire Nation, Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, and Air Nomads. Each season we will have special challenges for the Spring Equinox (Earth), Summer Solstice (Fire), Autumnal Equinox (Air) and the Winter Solstice (Water), among other special themes. Each team will compete for points in order to try and stay ahead of the other teams.'

It's exciting competiton between Avatar fans, and all you really have to do is like messing with fic/art/icons/etc! Most of us do it anyway, so this time we can put a competitive spin on it
